Fibermaxxing: Why Dietary Fiber Is Trending Right Now – and How UNE Foods Makes It Easy for Everyday Life
That is exactly why we at UNE Foods have developed functional baking mixes that combine familiar foods such as bread, pizza or cake with protein and dietary Fiber. Depending on the product, our baking mixes contain between 24 and 39 g of Fiber per 100 g and are easy to integrate into everyday life.
What does fibermaxxing mean?
“Fibermaxxing” describes the trend of deliberately building more dietary Fiber into your daily diet. The term is new – the topic behind it is not. Dietary Fiber is part of a balanced diet and occurs naturally in grains, pulses, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds.
In everyday life, however, it often turns out that it is not always easy to regularly plan in enough Fiber-rich foods. This is exactly where we come in.
Why UNE Foods is not a trend-driven company
For us, fibermaxxing is not a short-lived hype. We are three sisters and founded UNE Foods out of a personal need: nutrition should become simpler – not more complicated.
From the very beginning, our aim was to develop products that are nutrient-rich, practical for everyday life and enjoyable – without new rules or sacrifice, but as better versions of foods that are regularly consumed anyway.
Protein and Fiber in familiar foods
Our baking mixes with wheat protein as well as our gluten-free range combine protein and Fiber in familiar product formats. These include our
Protein-Fiber bread baking mix (Tomato-Cheddar), the gluten-free Protein-Fiber white bread baking mix, our Protein-Fiber pizza dough as well as the gluten-free Protein-Fiber chocolate cake baking mix.
In addition, we offer further functional products for everyday life: our 3-in-1 collagen with dietary Fiber and selected micronutrients as well as oat Fibers and cocoa Fibers as versatile Fiber sources.
This creates different ways to incorporate protein and Fiber into your daily diet – through familiar foods as well as through complementary products.
Developed with food chemists and laboratories in Germany
Our recipes were developed over several years – together with state-certified food chemists and supported by laboratories in Germany. The focus is on functional raw materials, plant-based proteins and Fiber sources, as well as an application that proves itself in everyday life.
Our approach: everyday life instead of sacrifice
We do not believe that nutrition has to keep getting more complicated. We believe in better products.
That is why we develop baking mixes that reimagine familiar foods: high in protein, high in Fiber, clean-label-oriented and easy to prepare.
Fibermaxxing may be a current trend – our approach remains long-term: nutrition that is easier to put into practice.
