FAQ
How does your Protein-Fiber Bread differ from conventional bread?
Our bread delivers 45 g of protein and 32 g of fibre per 100 g, making it a particularly protein- and fibre-rich baking mix. Clean-label-oriented and designed for everyday use.
What makes your PRO-FI pizza dough baking mix special?
With only 5 g of carbohydrates but 37 g of protein and 39 g of fibre per 100 g, our pizza baking mix combines three key nutritional aspects of modern nutrition: high protein content, high fibre content and reduced carbohydrate content – without additives and without added sugar.
Do the nutritional values on your packaging refer to the finished dough or to the baking mix in its dry state?
The values always refer to the baking mix in its dry state – this is required by law.
Water does not contribute calories, while added oil needs to be considered separately when calculating the final nutritional values.
Do your products contain sugar or sugar alcohols?
No. Our recipes are free from added sugar and sugar alcohols. Inulin is used as part of our fibre-based formulation. To round off the flavour profile, we use ingredients such as blackberry leaf extract.
What do your products NOT contain?
– No added sugar
– No sugar alcohols (e.g. erythritol, xylitol, maltitol)
– No sweeteners
– No artificial flavourings
– No artificial colourings
– No preservatives
– No emulsifiers or stabilisers
– No added palm oil
What does your 3-in-1 collagen product taste like?
Our premium collagen hydrolysate with micronutrients and fibre has a pleasantly chocolatey taste. The formulation includes cocoa fibre, tonka bean powder and blackberry leaf extract. No added sugar and no artificial flavourings – designed for everyday use.
How much protein do your products contain – and is it high-quality protein?
Our bread baking mix contains 45 g of protein per 100 g, and our pizza baking mix 37 g of protein per 100 g. We combine plant-based protein sources such as faba bean and wheat protein with animal protein from egg white and collagen hydrolysate. This creates a combination of amino acids from both plant-based and animal protein sources. According to EU regulation, protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
Why do you combine plant-based and animal proteins instead of being purely plant-based?
Because different protein sources provide different amino acid compositions. Our formulations consist of 50–70% plant-based proteins and are complemented with egg white and collagen hydrolysate.
How do you reduce the carbohydrate content in your recipes?
We replace part of the starchy raw materials with fibre sources such as acacia fibre, inulin or oat fibre. This creates fibre-rich recipes with a reduced carbohydrate content.
Why does fibre play such a major role in your recipes?
The average fibre intake in Germany is well below the DGE recommendation of 30 g per day. Our products deliver up to 39 g of fibre per 100 g – many times the amount found in conventional bread (approx. 4–5 g) or muesli – and qualify as “high fibre” foods under EU regulation.

Why do you use inulin and acacia fibre – what's special about them?
Inulin and acacia fibre are soluble fibres frequently discussed in the context of fibre-rich nutrition and the gut microbiome. They are also used as part of our fibre-based formulations.
Doesn't a lot of fibre disrupt ketosis?
Fibre is listed separately from carbohydrates in nutritional labelling and is generally not counted among digestible carbohydrates in low-carb or ketogenic nutrition concepts.

What type of collagen do you use?
Our product contains low-molecular-weight collagen peptides type I & III as well as vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, cartilage and bones – this is an authorised EU health claim.
What makes your 3-in-1 collagen product special?
Our 3-in-1 formula combines collagen peptides type I & III with:
– Vitamin C: contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, cartilage and bones
– Folate: contributes to normal cell division
– Vitamin B12: contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism
– Inulin & cocoa fibre: as fibre sources in the formulation
How are your recipes developed?
Our recipes are developed in a specification-driven process. Before developing a product, we define nutritional, quality and raw material specifications and continuously optimise the formulation until these requirements are met. More than six years of development work went into our current recipes.
How is the quality of your products verified?
Our recipes and raw materials are reviewed by state-certified food chemists and tested in accredited laboratories. This includes verification of nutritional values as well as testing for relevant food safety parameters. Production takes place in facilities certified to FSSC 22000 and GMP standards.
Are there studies on the collagen peptides used in your product?
Yes. The collagen peptides contained in our 3-in-1 product have been investigated in human studies. Our formulation is informed by published scientific research on collagen peptides.
